My dreams are just getting weirder, it feels like I didn't sleep at all. I didn't get much sleep to begin with either... ~~maybe I should do something about that book.~~

There. All my midterms are graded now. I don't have anything left to work on this weekend, so maybe I'll spend some time doing paperwork for the order... Ah, though I think it'd be more fun to do something nice. Lavi, would you want to go out to do something maybe? It's supposed to be a nice mild weekend. No rain! Not even clouds. It's a little cooler now, but that's normal for this time of year. Maybe it will snow around december.

I think I'm going to try to get more sleep tonight. Last night wasn't very restful, with the weird dreams I was having. ....I must have had too much on my mind before going to bed. That must be it. I'm sure tonight I'll sleep better.

It's a bit late, but with everything that's been happening I guess it wasn't really avoidable. Lavi's birthday was back in August, but I'd really like to throw him a belated birthday party. It would be something small. We could even use my classroom for the party.

I don't really think gifts are needed, but if you really want to give him something that's fine too. I'll take care of the food, but I might need some help with decoractions, if anyone's interested? I want this to be a surprise...so try your best to keep it quiet.

I think it might be best if I scaled some of these grades, but so far this semester is looking decent. I really wonder why it's so much different from teaching German...
There are other things that are worrysome though... I just hope they turn out okay.

[Allen's been playing security guard for the music hall, he's probably not been alone, but he's been at it for a while, scared that the crazy splicers might find a way inside to the people who are hiding there. The small pocket sized book has fallen out of Allen's pants pocket, falling face down, but open. Wet grass stains the edges a little. He's talking to himself, whispering. He sounds tired.]

At least everyone....most of everyone? Is in the music hall. There's so many of those things. The futher they stay away from the music hall the better. No one else should...

I wonder how Lavi and the others are doing. I should have been there to help Miranda and Crowley. There's got to be more I can do to protect the people here, until things get back to normal. It's too much for some of them. Way too much...

It would be best if people who can't defend themselves stay inside, and stay with someone for now. There's got to be something else we can all do though. We can't be sitting ducks for whatever this is.

Edit: ....Has anyone tried to leave lately? A few left earlier... but. It doesn't look like the trains are running. Or anything else that leads out of Poseidon for that matter. I'm enroute to check other places, but just what the hell is going on?

I've been thinking about this for a while. In the end, I think it's going to be best.

I'm going to perminently resign from my job as a teacher on campus. I'm sure Miss Von Karma and Mr. Yagami can take care of my class load in the interim. I'm really sorry about this, especially to my students. I believe that in the long run it will be best. I have other obligations that I think I need to focus on, and in the light of recent events, it would be best if I distanced myself from the student body as an athority figure.

I'll look into finding something to do with my days, but in the meantime, I'm going to continue to take some time off.
